Tuesday Morning Music Club Presents a Free Classical Music Concert on May 27

The Tuesday Morning Music Club of Douglaston will present a free concert of classical music, the last of the 2024-2025 season, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM.   The concert will feature a special performance by Daria Podorozhnova, the first-prize winner of TMMC’s 2025 Young Artists Competition, which was held on April 22.  Ms. Podorozhnova will present music by Brahms and Liszt.  Performing member Jerene Weitman will present music by Rutter and Hardy, and she will be joined by guest artist Claudia Beeby to present music by Fürstenau.

The concert will take place at the Community Church of Douglaston, 39-50 Douglaston Parkway, Douglaston, NY.  Admission is free and open to the public; no tickets are required.

Since 1921, the Tuesday Morning Music Club of Douglaston has enhanced the cultural life of its membership and the community by presenting the finest of musical works and performers to its audience of general members and guests.  The club also provides scholarship assistance to talented and worthy student musicians.  Guests are invited to become members to help the Club continue this important cultural tradition.
