You are invited to an immersive multimedia, cultural, musical, and educational evening dedicated to a pivotal chapter in modern Greek history. For the first time, the audience will experience the resilience, strategy, and profound sacrifices of the Greek nation during World War II, with the opportunity to share feedback in real time. Together, we will journey from Greece’s entry into the conflict and the heroic defense at the Metaxas Line, through the successful counteroffensive against the Italian invasion, to the unyielding spirit of resistance during the triple occupation.
Our history guide for the evening will be Dr. Evangelos Athanasopoulos who will be utilizing interactive multi-media presentations interwoven with the soulful voice of Grigoris Maninakis, joined by guest singer Aggeliki Psoni. Together, they will merge with the evocative sounds of Glafkos Kontemeniotis on the piano and Kostas Psarros on the bouzouki to create a stirring musical tribute, homage to the collective heroism of the Hellenic world and a celebration of the enduring power of unity in the face of adversity.
Do not miss this inspiring event which will be appropriate for children, family, and friends as we honor the legacy of modern Greek history
