“Out of the Dark” Art Exhibition Opening

Check out surreal art work made with ink/paper on October 11th 6-9pm at Yant Art Space on Austin St. in Forest Hills Queens.
Artist Alexis Marino creates large 30″ x 40″ tapestries interweaving imagery from nature with dream logic hinting at something otherworldly and sometimes macabre. Her works are created using BIC pen and paper, pushing the boundaries of commonly accessible materials showing that creativity is available to any who choose to seek it.

The show runs from October 7th to November 9th, but the opening on the 11th will feature interactive elements and a Q&A with the creator.
