Into the Charmed Churned Circle: A Family-Friendly Waterfront Concert in Red Hook

Step aboard Brooklyn’s historic barge for an unforgettable musical adventure inspired by Moby-Dick, sea lore, and the songs of whales. Into the Charmed Churned Circle is an immersive, family-friendly concert featuring over 50 musicians and singers from across NYC—performed just feet from the water on the Lehigh Valley No. 79 barge.

Presented by the Indeterminacy Festival in celebration of its 10th anniversary, the show transforms Red Hook’s waterfront into a living stage, bringing music and storytelling together in the New York Harbor.

Families are encouraged to come early and enjoy the surrounding area. This unique concert experience is best suited for children ages 7+, though all are welcome.
