Immersive Butterfly Experience
Discover the beauty and wonder of butterflies and moths up close in Queens County Farm Museum’s newest program, the Immersive Butterfly Experience!
This enclosed, living Butterfly Vivarium exhibit is home to over 75 butterflies and moths, featuring five different butterfly species, including the beloved Monarch, and three types of moths, all surrounded by a lush environment of over 200 plants.
During your 30-minute visit, you’ll have the chance to observe these fascinating pollinators in action. The space is designed to give guests an up-close look at the delicate features, colors, and behaviors of each species. They’ll all be fluttering from flower to flower, resting on leaves, and even landing close by!
QCFM Educators will be on hand to share engaging facts about the different butterflies and moths, including their life cycles, habits, and the important roles they play in the environment. You’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for these extraordinary insects and the ecosystems they support.
The Butterfly Vivarium offers a fascinating and educational escape into the world of pollinators, a truly unique experience for visitors of all ages.
Please Note: Purchasing tickets for 9/27 or 9/28 requires you to also have tickets for our 42nd Queens Agricultural Fair.
