Pedal to recycle! Join us to shred plastic, learn about upcycling, and create a keychain with Precious Plastic NYC!

The Blue Bus Project, in partnership with Precious Plastic NYC, Millwright, and Kids Ride Club, presents Cycle to Recycle! A human-powered bicycle shredder where you get to pedal and help us shred plastic waste.

Join us Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Culture Lab LIC from 4-7pm, where Precious Plastic NYC will demonstrate the full shredding process. You’ll also learn about different types of plastic and make a usable item—a keychain—to take home as a reminder of the power of upcycling. Come, bike, and be part of the solution!
