Community Storytelling Event in Jackson Heights!

Hey neighbors!
We’re hosting a free community event in Jackson Heights — and all of you are invited 🧡
Saturday, June 28 | 3–6 PM The World’s Borough Bookshop (3406 73rd St., Jackson Heights)
We’ll be reading stories from residents out loud — in different languages prominent in Jackson Heights — and making colorful paper art together inspired by all the flags and textures we see around the neighborhood. There’ll also be an art & craft market going on at the same time, hosted by The World’s Borough Bookshop. So come hang, read, draw, shop a little — or say hi!
Come hear the neighborhood speak!
3–5 pm: Read aloud stories collected from local residents — in each other’s voices, in many languages.
5–6 pm: Add your mark to a collective paper installation inspired by the vibrant flags of Jackson Heights.
🌈 Everyone’s welcome. Bring your language, your imagination, and a friend. Please feel free to share!
Hosted by GAUCHE & the Do You Speak Jackson Heights? project
