Bay Shore Cleanup

Join RISE for its first community shoreline cleanup of 2025! As spring arrives and visitors prepare to return to the Rockaways, we are coming together for a day of volunteering to celebrate the land and the water that define our neighborhood. This cleanup will take place along the bay side, where we will work to clear litter and prevent pollution.

If taking the A-train, get off at Howard Beach/JFK Airport and transfer to the free shuttle bus, Q109, to Beach 67th Street. Head north toward Jamaica Bay.

Adults and children alike are welcome to participate. Dress accordingly. Registration is not required, and students who are looking to do community service hours are encouraged to bring paperwork from their schools.
