An Evening of Art, Poetry and Community at Vital Art Studios Gallery

On Thursday, August 21 from 6–9PM, Vital Art Studios Gallery presents a special evening of
spoken word curated by Raluca Anchidin, inspired by Graciela Cassel’s solo exhibition
~o~c~e~a~n~ (currently on view at the gallery). The event will feature five diverse voices from
New York’s literary landscape, weaving together themes of identity, memory, place, and poetic
fluidity.

Hosted at Vital Art Studios Gallery (50-14 Skillman Ave, Queens, NY 11377), this intimate night
will feature readings by Jee Leong Koh, Alexandra Dine, Leah Kogen-Elimeliah, Pichchenda
Bao, and Aida Zilelian. Each poet brings a powerful, personal perspective to a shared
meditation on transformation and reflection.

Guests will enjoy complimentary refreshments courtesy of Noughty Non-Alcoholic Sparkling
Wine, Zakuska Vodka, and Sanzo sparkling water.

This evening marks the poetic close of ~o~c~e~a~n~, Graciela Cassel’s solo show—a multimedia
journey into the language of water, memory, and elemental transformation. Join us for a soulful
night of poetry, art, and shared presence.
