Vong Pak’s Binari is an experimental world music influenced by Korean folk music, improvisation, avant-garde, jazz, as well as storytelling. The characteristic triple rhythmic groove, South and North Korean folk song hybrid together with trombone and drum set sound. Like the Korean Epic song, Pansori, they draw the story by music. The Vong Pak Ensemble is composed of Vong Pak (vocal and Korean percussions), Rick Parker (trombone), and Kevin Zubek (drum).
